I haven’t been able to use my binoculars for several days, but yesterday, feeling that I’m loosing something very important in my life, I put everything aside and went… I went to meet with the sky, the sky which had been patiently waiting for me all these days. And I understood that this is the freedom, some people are talking so much about, this is the air, some people can’t live without and this is the life that people as myself can’t imagine not having……

Once a year there is a time, when both children and parents are excited and everyone is waiting for a miricle. And closer to December this feeling becomes more intense. Soon the chimes will strike, everything will start jingling, the fir-tree will wink with it’s decorations, Santa Claus will bring long-awaited presents, the fountain from the green shampagne bottle will rush into the ceiling and will flow on everyone with cheerful sparkling rain. Then the minute hand will cross the invisible line, and everyone will come up to the window and look at the night which is swimming in lights. …

Last night on the road coming from our friends’ house it seemed to me that I heard some kind of sound or noise. It was in a tiny unpaved road in the field, there was noone, only the beauty of the nature and us. At first I pricked up my ears, but then decided that it was very silly of me to do that, that everything was fine and I was just thinking it out. I assured myself that it was some kind of animal or a bird, but not the car. After my these thoughts my husband stopped the …

I will always remember the house of my grandparents… They lived far in the countryside and were farmers, what most of us can’t stand nowadays, but I was proud of them, as I am now. They used to have several cows, chicken, geese and sheep. My brother and I spent in their house almost the whole summer helping them around in the vegetable garden and in the household. I loved how it smelled there, the mixed aroma of hay, mushrooms, flowers, apples, plums, pears and earth as a smoke was hanging above us. There was also a train station close …

I’m an average woman on this planet, no worse no better. I guess most of us have the same problems and thoughts day after day. I’m as many of you have lots of things to take care of during the day that my brain often doesn’t respond to my command promptly (works as a bad computer). This daily routine takes over me, but sometimes little things, like today’s, change everything. I got an email from my husband today saying that I’m the best woman and wife in this world, that his life became meaningful when we got married… I started …

When looking at the starry sky for the very first time at dark moonless night, it can seem that there are extremely many stars on the sky, and there is no possible way to count them all. You can’t even find yourself in this universe, not speaking about anything else. But to a big surprise, you eye suddenly starts organizing some of the stars into different figures of various shapes. That’s exactly what our ancestors did. By watching the constellations, stars and planets they were creating the clock and compiling the calendar. (what we use today not even thinking about …

I guess this is the influence of the Christmas time, of this special, wonderful feeling and fragrant in the air… the aroma of joy and happiness… Yesterday I was asking myself a question about what is the most important thing for me in this world. Before making my own mind I decided to ask some of my friends, relatives, neighbors and collegues the same question. Well, I’ve got different answers, some of them said family, happiness, health, others career, money, luxury life… As for me, what I care the most in my life – is LOVE. Love to my husband, …

Yesterday I was reading over “Le Petit Prince” ( The Little Prince) which I consider the most impressive fairy-tale I”ve ever read in my entire life. It is written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint Exupéry. I’ve read it in 3 different languages, but it’s still the same beautiful and meaningful story. I first read it when I was about 8 years old, I didn’t understand much at that time, I think what I liked the best in this book was the pictures… But the older I got the more I understood…Every time you read over your favourite book (or …

Each year there are only a few great holidays that make me think very hard and sometimes even wrinkle up my forehead. One of them is Christmas Day. People always ask each other what they want for Christmas, as for me I have one little distinctive feature, I don’t ask this question I always feel what to buy for people I love. I love to see their shining happy eyes when they open their boxes with presents. 2006 Christmas is on its way and I certainly don’t want to miss or be outsider in this present hunt game. I’ve heard …

This modern 21st century is growing so fast, everything changes hourly, people develop new high tech machines and equipment, our economy is unstable, our air is being polluted every second, gas prices go up and down, people die, people are born……someone told me that we can’t trust anyone, we need to rely only and totally on ourselves…we can’t live as a community and nation anymore, we are individuals, thriving for our lives, trying to keep up with world forgetting about our morals, feelings and our souls….You know, despite all these changes in this world, there is something that has been …
